The golden "scorched" effect is the residual sap left over from the laser process, because of this some pieces will may look different from the items pictured. If you prefer, you can remove the excess sap using a damp cloth. Wood is a natural material and can contain obvious grains and flaws that make each item truly unique.

Poplar wood is light in weight and colour Poplar wood is sustainable and has a Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification [PEFC]

The sustainable wood is untreated and you can use standard wood stains or inks, to give this item your own personal touch.
